- re-use of as much energy and water as possible;
- reduction of waste production;
- training our people to respect the environment.
We regularly devote a very significant part of our capital expenditure to the protection of the environment. Potential environmental risk is taken into consideration at the very beginning of any new industrial development. Working in a preventative manner is always the most efficient and cost-effective way to preserve our natural environment, which is our key provider of raw materials.
The management of LBG is involved in an improvement process aiming to:
- Monitor behaviors;
- Prevent risk situations through frequent aud iting, training and education and the implementation of appropriate measures;
- Maintain a high level of awareness and involvement of employees - not just during, but also before and after work.
