Ragusa and its surroundings, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2002, are famous for its history, its baroque monuments, and sandy beaches. But certainly nothing is comparable to the numerous age old masterpieces of nature: the huge, carob trees in the countryside. In fact, the area represents 90% of the total carob tree production in Italy. A record due to ideal climatic conditions, but also to the agricultural skill of the locals. A tradition of taste, naturalness and expertise that is still there, behind the impressive modernity of LBG Sicilia sites.
