Our best LBG is getting better

LBG producers peel the seeds and separate the endosperm from the husk and germ. The grinding process of the endosperm consists of various production steps and influences the product characteristics of the locust bean gum.

We manufacture our LBG gum systems using carefully controlled production techniques:

  • The grain is dehusked by subsequent multistage mechanical treatments (i.e., not exposed to chemicals).
  • After moderate crushing, the splits are separated from the germ.
  • The flour is obtained by grinding the splits
