Locust Bean Gum

LBG is a textural ingredient derived from the seed of the leguminous carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua). LBG is obtained from the endosperm of the seeds, in which it acts as a carbohydrate reserve during germination.

LBG is one of the most important hydrocolloids first used in the food industry. Its quality has been known to be at the top for its unique functional properties, for its natural origin and manufacturing process.
